Glue down hardwood flooring often sounds more like real solid hardwood flooring than floating floors do. Because of the way it is installed there isn’t a hollow sound when walking across the floor or a spongy feel, this is something that can be an issue with floating floors if they aren’t installed perfectly and with optimal conditions.
This also doesn’t require a vapor barrier because the glue itself acts as the barrier.
Also tends to expand and shrink less due to glue sticking, and can be used on surfaces that are not as level as is needed with floating floors.
Depending on the glue you choose, you will still have the benefit of anti mold, sound control, light leveling, etc.
But to have all these benefits, you will need the help of a professional, for choosing the best product for your reality, and for installation.
